Please give your opinion on this cap.Short peak,double button ,silk lining with leather sweatband in front.No markings on inside .Is this a original or copy?

The materials and wear are convincing and I have seen the unusual two large glass buttons on other originals. It appears to be a hybrid of the earlier single button type (usually with grommits) and the later "M-43" type. The insignia is nicely applied. For whatever it is worth, I like it and from photos alone believe it to be original.
