KM Officers Tropical Cap Opinions

Hi guys, I have had this cap for several years. I know the cap is original, however I am not sure if the insignia is original to the cap. I have had other Km tropical caps and the insignia was always neatly machine sewn. This cap has hand sewn insignia and it is a bit crude in it's application. It is not sewn through the lining. Your opinions are greatly appreciated.

Its probably the original eagle just tacked back on later. The eagle doesn't have that relaly settled appearance I like to see on original untouched insignia. Matt

Thanks Matt for commenting. I have looked at the lining of this cap and there is no sign of it ever being opened. In some places the eagle is tight. In other places not very secure. And the cockade, I don't know what to make of that.

It looks to be a blue BeVo bormutze cocade folded/cut down to just the roundel.
