Would have wanted to see a fine gold bullion eagle and buttons that weren't painted (?) gold. The corded, 'keyhole' buttonholes were nicely rendered, very old world and the doeskin material used in the cap quite fine too. I'm thinking someone chopped up a coat to make that fake....probably used the silken lining material as well. Upscale fake cap like this will stooge a great many collectors.
