I don't collect m-43's, so I cannot speak to the hat itself. However, the maker logo is a fake knockoff of a real one for Oskar Hertlein of Erlangen.
It is commonly found in fake Hertlein visor caps. Hertlein never used an embroidered logo---only foil.

Also, should not a 1943 & later cap for a general have gold insignia, rather than silver?
