Cavalry visor cap, post war made?

    Hi guys.

I need your help about the Johann Frey Muenchen manufacturer.

Is this a postwar visor cap?

    Regards.

I think it's OK, but the color looks like Signals on my monitor.

Maybe it is just me, but I am not a fan of any Johann Frey-marked visor.

See this thread. The one you posted has the same cloth-covered reed system found in most of these Freys (and they may have originated with Deibel and then Floch):

This is a nice looking cap, but I would not be comfortable owning it. Something in the back of my mind says reproduction. Just my "gut" feeling.

The one thing that I can see is that the sweat diamond looks a bit plastic - txuko, do you have it in hand and can you tell?

Thanks you guys for your help.

The seller has changed the description to signal visor cap.

I knew Wolf very well and I too think that this could be one of his caps.He ripped me off for several caps and other items so I went to Pensburg West Germany and got my money back and saw not one orig. cap in his small shop.It took me 2 days to catch up with him but I had a friend with me and on the second day the old hag that worked for this faker told him I was not going away so he saw me and the rest is history. This guy was a trip.I still see a lot of his FAKES out here today being sold as orig. He has passed now and that's that.
