Question re DAK Sidecaps Find

Giel has a bundle of these for sale on the Estand. Is part of the 'beehive" find? Does anyone have pictures of these at the time they were found?

& when and in what city were they found?

Thet originally to my recollection where is the southern france/german border area.. A fellow with great funds bought a sh t pile of the bundled caps when the came from overseas..probably around the time of the first Max show..they were squirreled away in a storage area in California when I believe this fellow was getting OLD and sold out..I believe a few members here were involved in the last batch purchase of them.. there were 100s of these..many with soutache..and a few m40s if memory serves..

All were originally found by Johannes Floch, many years ago. Tony Gordon bought hundreds and those were sold some years ago, being the second time a huge lot was on the market.
