At the top of this forum, there are numerous pinned threads. They are broken down into repro/fake hats, and originals. Every pic has a keyword, which is the maker, the town, or most often, both.
If you are going to buy a hat, and you know the maker, all you have to do is use the search function by putting the name of your maker in quotes (ie, "Robert Lubstein"), and search by "post" (not as a thread).
This way, you can compare the logo/hat characteristics to the hat you are considering purchasing. If you are still unsure, post the hat on the forum BEFORE buying. (If the seller/dealer will not let you post on the forum, do not buy the hat).
