Interesting Erel Visor

All, I just picked up this pre/early war Erel transport visor cap and it had a few interesting features I wanted to get opinions on. First of all, the top piping actually has two join points, which I have not seen before:

Second, the cap band is extremely smooth - almost like the "nap" when worn off a tunic:

Third, the liner inside seems to be treated with some sort of waterproofing material - it has the "feel" of the civilian liners - more stiff than the usual liner. I neglected to take a picture f the interior this morning, but in all other respects it has the characteristics of standard Erel liners. Has anyone seen these features on other Erels?

It looks like an very nice cap
I have seen 2 joints points on Erel before+ aslo on other maker and SS caps.

Do you have photo of lining and under the hood

Don, its a good one. The lining could have been treated aftermarket for waterproofing by the original soldier.
