Infantry Visor Questions

Hi Guys,
Bought this cap a while ago and I need some opinions....Mint except that the lining is missing. It doesn't look like it was ever there. Any explanations?

Cap is OK I have the Same cap with lemmonyellow piping

Some times they were ordered that way. It may have been destined for a warmer climate, but it doesn't look like it ever got there. Great bullion!

Visor is nice but IMO not the original insignia, most likely started out with the Aluminium type eagle & wreath/cockade....

Agreed and you can also see where the metal eagle was as well.
Could this be a legit officers upgrade or a promotion during the 4th Reich

I should add, nice cap either way!!!
