    NSKK Visor

    Hello

I have this NSKK visor for some time, I believe it to be drivers instructor's visor. Opinions welcome.

    Thanks

    Mario

        Hello all,

I came across an Officer's visor by the same maker. Any feedback on either of these caps in the thread?

I'll try later to articulate a decent thought about NSKK visors.

                Hallo William

This is the description of the NSKK LW Motor Brigade Dienstmutze for NSKK high-ranks (1941-1945):
                blue-gray cloth body
silver white state NSKK eagle, usually rayon embroidered on a gray-blue support (in this case a metallic device)
dark brown cloth band with silver pipings
silver-white oak leaves wreath with stylized wings and state cockade, aluminum hand-embroidered (which is missing here)
                aluminum chincords
                matt silver grained buttons
                black vulcanized fiber peak

All in all the exterior of this visor is very attractive, but the inside does not convince me.

                  I agree, highly suspect

I agree with the above--I have seen more of these Mutzen Werk Posen visors in the past several years, and believe them to be fakes from the ground up (and a fantasy maker).

Unfortunately, I did not get an exterior of the SS, but it is bad:

Here is another NSKK (cloth bill) fake that was sold on Ebay with the Posen mark:

And finally the XX Offiziers-Schirmmütze Polizeidivision - frühe Sammleranfertigung:

                              http://www.ebay.de/itm/XX-Offiziers-...cAAOSw241Yb1ck

The seller is an honest person and describes it correctly.

                              Anyway
