    Infanterie Alter Art Feldmütze

    Greetings all,

First post here in this section with a cap that some of you may recognize.

This one was found in an attic by member Kurt along with another crusher and a couple of coats belonging to the same officer.

Let me know what you think of it (it's my first piece of cloth headgear)!

That is a handsome cap, unusual materials for sure but none the less a good one IMO.

Normally I would have questioned the visor bill on such a Heer cap, but now knowing the source it is for sure just a nice other variant. Congrats!

This is In my humble opinion a late crusher.
I have owned a similar one that was made with flatwire insignia using both composite material and plastic for the visor.
This style of cap was manufactured until late in the war.

Nice cap, really nice shape and "patina."

I am actually looking for one of these as well, if anyone can point me in the right direction
