Question about Erel stamp

Hello ,

I was just looking at some Erel visor caps on this forum and noticed something....
Some "Z" 's in the word "Stirnschutz" have a horizontal line ( - ) THROUGH it and some don't.....
I remember a thread that told us that a "Z" without the horizontal line is a fake !
But I can't remember the thread
Is there anybody who can explain this ??

No--that rule only applies to the DRGM marked Erels. Originals have the hash mark (horizontal line), but the Heavyweight "DRGM" marked fake Erels do not.
