My point though is a serious one.

This auction is charging a 12.5% buyers fee.
It is not a physical auction at a venue where you can go and inspect the items before bidding. It is an internet only auction just like ebay or similar so why the 12.5% fee?

I've already discussed this point with the dealer via email but he doesn't understand my concerns.

The other point I'm frustrated about is that this dealer has already posted this hat online and has received opinions on it's authenticity by collectors such as myself and we supplied that service FREE of charge.

So basically, the dealer got a FREE authentication and FREE advertising and publicity for this hat and his auction but the winning bidder will have to pay a fee on top of the end price plus postage.

Of course he is FREE to do whatever he wants but I think the whole thing sucks in all honesty and it's not why I try and help people when it comes to judging TR hats.
