Have you ever heard about "Hansa Mütze"?

I came across a Luftwaffe sommer schirmmütze and this hatter was the maker...

Is it a fake maker or a genuine one?

I just took a quick look on google and I didn't find any pics of others caps made by this hatter...

Without seeing any more of this visor, I'd say it is safe to assume you have a fake there in my opinion.

I also noticed a "Prym" snap botton looking like brand new...So strange...

You can store properly a cap in a wardrobe and after 70 years it could still shine as brand new...but...

No, the hat is postwar. I just wanted to see what they were trying to make it into.

It is a postwar water-related cap--most likely civilian.

The LW wreath may be real.....
