    Impossible to know a fakers way of thinking...Maybe he thought they are original stamps so why not show them on the lining....Post war stamps would be post war,and are often not done correctly.

          This cap actually gives me an idea for a new thread: Post your strangest cap. The only problem there is that folks would say all the caps were fake. Oh well...

            Thanks for additional pics.
            Can we see an interior view of the eyelet?
            The grey eyelet shown from the outside looks like it has a crack and would like to see whats going on inside.
