It's quite a sad piece, the people selling it thought, it was illegal selling it with the swastika... fortunately the did it with patience and everything is still in good shape but

any thoughts on this cap and the eagle? The thread left on the eagle and cap are a match, speaking for the sellers story. It's lacking the grommets, but has the heer schnitt and not really anything that vouches for KM/KA?

the cap itself looks old - but its for sure not a typical issued example.

Insignia and cap look good to me. I once had a perfectly good cap without grommets once. I think it was Dutch made as I remember.

I am not comfortable at all by construction, fabric and lining, I would like to see more pictures before she definitely is not good.

had it checked by some dealers today, the all said good and Dutch or French made.
