...the problem isn't estand... some weeks ago a friend give to me a bag of Italian good items and some german... inside a konvolut was a paper bag of ek2 fake.
Fortunately one collector advised me... and i removed the paper... but in a bag really good... i don't spot a paper bag fake. Out of my field, can happen to take a fake.
The problem is the 6 visors, and the refund of Biohazard
we are waiting the reply of Besslein about where he found the visors...

In any event, the e-stand is well-policed with regard to visors--that is why we have so few end up on the Forum for discussion. I have seen maybe 3 questionable visors appear in the last 2 years that I can think of, and those were the result of an honest mistake by the sellers. (as I do not collect crushers/M-43's/Schiffchens, I leave it to others to "police" them.)
In the early days of the forum, we did not have everthing organized as to both fakes and originals as we do now, and they have all been called out: the Altestes; Janke's; Derwigs; Deibels; Heavyweights; N&T Globals; Flochs; BRD Poseurs; Frankies; Pinking Shears; etc. If a mistake by a buyer is made, it is most often the result of simply having failed to review the pinned threads/do a simple forum search/or seek input BEFORE purchasing.
The bottom line is that as a result of this forum's seven-year existence, fake visors have pretty much dried up in terms of being sold (or attempting to be sold) on the E-stand. I have also seen prices fall dramatically on Ebay when it comes to the above fakes, the simple result of our combined efforts to preserve both the integrity and future of this hobby.
So, the moral of the story is read, look at the pictures, and if you are still not sure, post BEFORE you buy.

Besslein was bad news, lots of ignorant posts.
Funny thing I remember When Biohazard was selling a fake SS side cap and I made the forum aware of it, it was Besslien that came to the rescue to give me a few ignorant posts to defend his friend.
Now Biohazard is out money.

Very sad story which I just now came upon. I have bought two items from Arek, however, I always asked for many many detailed closeups of the items, dozens, and both items are fine, one non SS, one SS, I didnt have any problems with him. I do remember when I was sent an email from him of the caps all lined up, and thought, a bit too good to be true, and since I dont collect SS visors, I was not interested. One thing, if he sold 5/6 for 13K us dollars each, its not like you can go hide and live off of that money forever, its not winning the lotto, so, I dont see the point? First of all, its wrong, and in the end will catch up to him. Hope those that were burned are compensated, however when dealing with many countries, borders, laws, etc, its unlikely.

I was nervous about receiving it. No problems. Zelt arrived as described.
I've seen a lot of fake SS crusher caps lately, not only offered by Arek. Some with
Colored piping.....be careful!
Any news at all?
Cheers
