          Not a standard pattern H.J. Ski cap. It's a civilian ski cap with an H.J. member pin attached. Period photos do show civilian caps used by H.J. members but difficult to prove.

            The ink stamped "HJ Ausfuhrung 1942" stamp (HJ Type 1942) I find rather suspicious, since it is not a standard RZM sanctioned HJ model cap...
            (lacks front buckle...)
            If it is a legit period stamp, than based on the dating it is a war time hat obviously, but to me also definately a civilian cap with added HJ pin...

              IMO, these hats are worth nothing more than the price of the HJ pin--there is no way to confirm they are wartime issue.

              The only ones you can be certain of are the ones with the RZM stamping on the buckle and the tag inside.

              Just my .02 cents.

                  Yes Kurt,even me,i can not see my pictures anymore. Since they rebuild the WAF website,it is slow like hell,and most of the time ,you can not open the pictures anymore.
