      From the pics I've seen I would say fake cap

        It is a good 1943-era visor, but for Generalstab/Vet, not Pz.

        It appears to be unissued factory mint:

                  It's a 100% original cap. It's a latewar made ca. 1943.

                        As others have said, a textbook unissued Erel. I think stonemint's '43 estimate is dead on for this one.

                          How about '42, Brian? I thought Nick or someone once said Erels made after 1942 did not have the EREL imprint filled with silver link?
