    Early transp. Or med em visor?

    Thoughts please. Ans, how come some piping stitches are visible ? Seems a no-no esp. In prewar tellerform caps.... Thanks a mint.

              thanks richard - I'd thought closer to transp. but w/out flash it's a lot darker. tomorrow I'll try and make some outside in open shade. anyone else please?

                    maybe could be a unit mark, but with these 'papery' ersatz leather ones it's dodgy lifting them to find it - they tend to be dry and CRACK

                      More more pix per fevered requests! These were made in natural light open shade and no other light... At some angles piping's more purplish; in other, bluish - strange! In hand it's more the former.

                              Well for me anyway I think you ve got a custom made period piece in a RARE color..Now convincing the community why the crappy sewing application thru out is quite another story....Billbert
