Water Customs Bullion Insignia for Visor

Dear all, I know that water customs bullion insignia for visor is rare. Do you think this is a good one? By the way, does anyone have a water customs officer visor? Thank you.

Yes, I would say real. Have yet to see an original Wasserzoll in the flesh--all turned out to be re-worked KM style visors.

By the way, does anyone have a period photograph showing water customs officer visor in wear? If yes, kindly post it here. Thanks!

I found this today. I could see no reference before. But I think this is not at re-worked KM one because its color looks different in a lighter blue manner. Any comments?

My first question would be what happened to the Stirndruckfrei system?

Stonemint, thanks for your comment. However, what do you mean by that? Thanks.

Austrian HBA stamping in the lining ?
It could explain the lighter blue colour ...

Yes, but the hat was made in Germany. Furthermore, the sweatband is stamped 1937, a year before the Anschluss. Too many red flags flapping in the wind....

                      Hi all

This visor was already discussed three months ago:

Enorepap, thanks for the link. It seems that there is still no clue. Interesting link though.

Yes, I agree that currently there is still not a definitive and indisputable clue, although the balance seems to me to lean more towards the negative side ...
