I like the cap but want to point out a slight detail in the soutache application.
It may be the angle of the pic but it appears that the soutache is not stitched hard onto the fabric, top right of the soutache you can see a shadow.
Again not sure if this is the angle of the pic that is doing this.
However, I have seen examples of similar soutache applications typical to this example.
Personally I like them stitched hard onto fabric.
Nice mint cap.
