    Luftwaffe Fireman's Visor Hat????

This is the way the hat has always been. I see no evidence of any police type insignia ever being applied. The hat, in my opinion, is a standard foreman's visor hat.

Is this configuration possible? I was going to put it on the estand, but want to make sure everything is correct. or not.

To my recollection this is an accepted variation..also seen is same with luft mohair center band..If memory serves the 1 with mohair band signifies a permanent fire installation at a luftwaffe airfield..Hope this helps..Billbert

        Bob--

Technically the LW Fliegerhorst Feuerwehr visor should have a wool band in lieu of the velvet. That being said, I have seen LW Fireman visors that had no evidence of a police eagle--simply the maker using what was on hand.
So, if yours has no outline of a Police eagle, I would agree with you, it was always LW.
