    Can anyone read this logo?

I am trying to i.d. the maker of this hat (and it may be a postwar visor).

Looks like the last 6 letters are "netzky" (this is the only pic I have).

Any idea as to the maker?

This is the RB visor with the cloth wreath that was on eBay recently, right? I can make out "F _ unetzky."

I'd guess Hans Kranetzky, can't identify a town unfortunately. Says also "Hüte und Mützen".

IMHO postwar visor from maker "Hans Kosanetzky, Dortmund".
Here you go a similarly (postwar) West German Postal visor: Click!

              Hallo Chris

              I agree with kuratorium

HANS KOSANETZKY Mützen of DORTMUND, an der Windhake 12 (previously with office in Münsterstraße 92 and Altendernerstraße)

"SS" Kosanetzky on the 'bay right now--looks like a Latvian with a transplanted lining:

                    wow

If only this hat could speak. Looks like it saw some tough kombat with the powder burns and stains and concussions that must have ripped the insignia and chin strap off. Bet there are blood stains on the inside, maybe hair. You just can't make up stuff like this!

                      Yes.

Kosanetzky Hans, hute & mutzen, was active in the postwar period also.

This is the 1955 Dortmund adressbuch:
