Untypical LW white top NCO by Stieve

Hmm, this cap raises a few questions to me - does anyone have other examples of this maker? It looks and feels old.

    Cheers!

Stieve would be the distributor. Pekuro the maker.

Thanks Chris and Marcello, will post more pictures soon - a few interesting things on that cap.

        Cheers,

Looks like an early Pekuro cap.

Thanks Kreager, here some more pictures. Never seen a cap with kind of a "filling" on top of the inner lining. Keeps the shape nicely. Maybe typical for Peküro?

Here from the outside - officer´s insignia, the weirdest eagle I´ve ever seen but a normal NCO chin strap...?

The eagle was sewn directly on the white top - and there are no holes for normal NCO eagle prongs...?

Anyone ever seen such a "softie" eagle?

Many question marks - but gotten like that from the former owner according to the person I bought it from - hmm...

                Thanks for looking!

                  Hallo Jack

I believe that this cap has been extensively discussed over three years ago and the majority has concluded that it is an Oberfähnrich:

                  http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ghlight=stieve

For what it is worth, I stand by my idea, but however I accept the judgment of the majority.

Thank you Marcello, how do you remember all these old threads - I'd even commented on that cap myself!!! It is the same one...
