Sewn!!! If you're restoring a cap please do not use glue.

I thought to sew it but how!! The dark green band has a hard backing a needle
will not go through it. Yes i want to restore an original cap that is in pretty bad shape, it will never be a show piece but would like it to look decent.

The backing is pretty tough. Did the cap originally have a bullion wreath? Are there holes in the pasteboard where it originally had one?

If you don't know how a bullion wreath was sewn on, you should leave it alone.
