i have the following information from the seller

reinforcing washer behind grommets
stampings faded looks like bh41 in a rectangle
berlin maker again faded

althought pics are not close enought to distinguish clearly details,
it seems that there is black paint applied on those reinforcing washers inside ?
it would be wise to ask focused pics to check this point, if you are a potential purchaser of this sidecap.
and same for close wiews of insignias and soutache, as already pointed.
the seller should provide them.
at this stage, my negative opinion about this sidecap stays unchanged.
