White field cap with edelweiss

Hello,
on the way home from my pre-op appt. I ran into a few items, this is a white field cap, tan interior, green hand sewn cap insignia and a painted edelweiss on the side.
Is this a good cap or fantasy... thanks for any help.

The Edelweiss is post war.

Cap itself seems to be good M40 tropical cap ( a luft tropical cap if I'm not wrong. if so than insignia are wrong. definately they are postwar applied ).
