All I hear here seems to be opinion's.
How about some real solid facts to back up those opinion's.
I think it only fair if your going to knock someone's item then have the decency to state known-provable-real facts to back up your posted opinion's.
And smart-aleck remarks only show the lack of proper forum etiquette and perhaps a shallow level of understanding.

How do we know the one at Oakleaf is a real one, can it be proven, perhaps it is a copy???
There must have been one hat maker or two in every German town in Germany and I am sure they all did not make the same exact hats so to emphatically assume all Panzer side hats were the same and made the same way is ludicrous.
I guess asking for factual real hardcore evidence is to much.
I still think it unfair to judge or condemn a posted item with opinions.
If you don't know for positive sure and can back it up with evidence then keep your opinions to your self.
These forums have turned into kind of a Witch Trial where the poor wretched soul is condemned on here say, no factual traceability - evidence or otherwise can be presented.
Just my two-cents worth but I think some intelligence should be used not just off the wall remarks.
