    Late M43 cap

I have a late Army M43 cap dated !945. I'm not sure about the liner material inside the cap. The rest of the cap looks good to me, but I'm not an expert on Army M43 caps. Any opinions? The first pic is the eagle and cocade.
    Thanks
    Tony

Hi Tony, you have no worries with this cap, as it is a very nice original in my opinion.

          Cheers, Ade.

            Hi Tony,

I agree with Ade. From those few pictures, I like it too!

Could you post some overal views of the cap?

            Cheers

                  Front view

Thanks to everyone for your opinions and compliments. This is the front view of the cap. The only negative is that it was stored improperly. The cardboard or whatever material is inside the bill is broken. It was folded in half and stored that way. Luckily there are no holes or tears in the fold area. Otherwise, the cap is in great conditon. Again, thanks for the help!!!

                        Tony,

Very nice. Personally I don't think the fold in the bill is a negative. If you look at wartime photos a lot of caps show this feature, as a result of the caps being folded and stuffed by soldiers into their belts/pockets. Gives it personality. Regards Jim

                          Final pics

                          Jim,
Thanks for your input. I agree, the fold does add character to the cap.

                          Jan,
I wasn't real happy about the over all picture, it was a little blurry for my tatse also. I just can't seem to get an overall picture that's clear and within the the alotted size. Still getting used to my camera. Here are a couple of other close-ups that I took.

Thanks for all the inquiries about selling the cap, but I'm going to keep the cap for now.

                          Thanks
                          Tony
