        Luft side cap.

        Hmmmm The linning is a little concerning to me, Not the Typical sort of linning used.

        I wonder if anyone has some opions of this Linning ????

                Hello guys. I will not comment on the lining but I have some concerns/questions about the eagle.

                On the top is an original eagle from another thread and bellow is the eagle from this topic. As you can see there are different number of claws present. Isn't there just one too many?

                  OK I went through the pinned thread about LW schiffchen caps and there sure are a lot of eagle variations but not a single eagle presented has claws like the one in this thread.

                    Hi Mario

                    I have seen the threads, Its quiet possible that it is a original piece !! But this in mind its not a textbook / typical piece !!!
                    If its original it would certainly be fair to call it a Variant !!!!

                    Have You tried the burn test on a lose piece of thread from the liner ????

                    I am happy with the Insignia thoe !!!

                    Hope this Helps !!!

                              Panzer nco;

                              M43 caps shown in this thread are lined with blue Italian satin .
                              The lining of the side cap is made out blue HBT, a different material.

                              Not typical, but I believe this one is OK .
