luftwaffe vizor authentic?

Does this luftwaffe vizor look authentic?

My educated guess by looking at the lining material and ripped out sweatsheild is that its a postwar parts Altesse visor cap..dont know on the eagle but the wreath looks ww2 era to me..so NO its not a WW2 hat...Billbert

I agree with Billbert, wouldn´t bet money on that cap either. The eagle has surely been reapplied and also looks quite uncommon. Compared with the badly corroded cocarde it is in a good shape. I don´t like the inside of the cap either, the plain green underside of the visor is common to many copies. I personally would wait for a better one without so many issues, especially the corroded cocarde doesn´t look too nice and cannot be rescued any more.
