This dealer, his name is Alfred Beck, has his shop in Cologne, Germany and - I am not kidding - his homepage is designed to represent him as a serious dealer of military items.

Scammers like Carsten Staegemeir or Thomas Plettenberg do not even try to have a serious homepage, they sell copies, and that´s it.

Not so Mr. Beck, who calls himself a specialist dealer.
Mr. Beck is some sort of choleric, every item on his site is an original in his opinion of course, he ignores all PM`s saying something different... On the other hand he does sometimes reject offered 100% genuine items as copies...

I just took a quick look at his Imperial German headgear. He lists a 6th Wurttemberg Hussars officer's peaked cap for 3,800 euros
There were NO Wurttemberg Hussar regiments; it's actually the 26th Dragoons.
His prices are insane, that alone is enough to avoid him.

I bought a nice beaded Luftschutz "combat" helmet from this dealer for less than what I see collectors selling similar examples for. It was well-packed and shipped quickly. I see that the site is riddled with fakes and that is unfortunate, but I do not know of any dealer who has never sold a fake. I certainly agree that the amount of fakes on that site is over the top and this dealer has earned a bad reputation with these offerings, no doubt.

That M40 helmet he has listed as an M35 for 3,550 Euro is a complete joke. If he can't tell that it's an M40 with fake decals he shouldn't be in the business. Same with that POS brown Luft helmet.

I bought A 100% original German Red Cross Helmet from Herr Beck a year ago , the communication and shipping were fast , the helmet arrived within 48 hours.
I bought the helmet very cheap compared to what other dealers / sellers are asking for such helmets....

When I was looking at his site a year ago , there were some fakes but now there are tons of fakes , and very obvious too
