In my very personal opinion, don't like those visible stich thread above the middle gold pipping in the front,the interior sweatshield..looks like heat was applied????....to make it look "dry"...the insignia also don't give me a good vibe, this is among other things and of course this is my very personal opinion and views.

I agree with Federico Perez and would even go a bit further and say it is safe to assume that this is a put-together product of the Fourth Reich with some original parts.

The faker kindly also got the cap band color wrong which makes it even easier to spot. So unless your friend is looking for a reenactment visor, he should pass on this one...

Hi Jim, I do not like it either. Cap band is an obvious nono. Sweat band is also not something I would expect on a general's cap. Cheers, W

Thanks guys for your help, my friend has decided to pass on it, I did not like it myself, but he wanted a few more opinions. Even if it was right I think its in to bad a condition.

Yes, good decision. Safe the moeny for a original cap and not a repro.
