Is this a good one or should I pass? First time I have seen one of these up close. Nothing glowed under a blacklight. Eagle looks good to me...but again I defer to the experts. Let me know what you are seeing.

No opinions? I searched these hats and read a number of posts. Most of the ones that have been posted appear to be original, but it sounds like they did start reproducing these in the last couple of years. It also sounds like ther are differing opinios as to whether or not they were issued with the an eagle. It sounds like some people believe that the eagles were not factory applied.

Thanks for the comments. That makes me 1-3 in the last couple of weeks. I looked at getting an officer SS M43..was determined to be bad and then yesterday I posted a Luft Para helmet that was also bad...so I was beginning to lose hope. At least this was a good piece and restored my spirits!!
