Same lining and possibly the same maker as this one.

The panzer officer example is however, later production, slightly lower profile & late 1944 type trap

                    Hi Chris!

Thanks for the link! Obviously, the lining are identical.
                    Probably the same manufacturer.
How can cost this a cap?

                    Best regards

                      Hello Sergey,

the EM/ NCO Pz. M43 cap in the link was sold by a English dealer for 2000 UK pounds or US$2500 approx.

The challenge for the cap which you have shown, if an original black Pz. officer M43 then the sky is the limit. Practically no original beyond doubt examples are known to exist any where in the world today.

Many however, do not accept that type of lining material as German or original i.e. before May 1945. Plus the cap which you show does not have officer rank insignia which may or may not be a good thing.

Thus, a value for such a cap is hard to determine and depends on how one sees the cap,

                      Chris

My exchange rate was wrong being the Euro to US$ conversion. The cap in the link in post number 7 ("Panzer Bob's" Pz. M43 cap) was sold for 2000 UK pounds which is over US $3000,

I repeat, a lot of collectors do not like or trust this type of lining material in an M43 cap

The only one I ever found was a veteran bringback and it was period upgraded from enlisted. Very hard cap to find.
