    Hermann Goring's Visor caps?

    Hi,

    Are any of Hermann Goring's visor caps still around? How many are there, who has them, etc? Anyway to see pics?
    I remember seeing one for sale at THE MAX several years ago. Didn't know much about caps back then. Not sure if it was an original or repro.

    Years ago at the MAX show I saw one in a clear display box. The guy
    let me examine the interior (while he held it ). It looked real to me.
    I think his name was Bill Rentz. There are several in private collections.
    And due to the sheer number of uniforms old 'Meyer' had made for
    himself, I'm sure there are many more unaccounted for, which may
    pop up in the future. Fakes abound.

        I would be interested to know if anyone on our forum has militaria of famous personalites that we all would recognize?
        Interested in candid/private Hitler, KIA, and Holocaust photos. Also any AH related memorabilia--silverware, linen, crystal, china...

          This rugged visor cap was offered by a german auction-house in 1973.
          The opening bid was 3.700 DM. An Army Officer started at 130 DM .
