Potential Real Color-Piped SS Erel on Ebay!

This one has a chance (& no, I am not vouching for it, and like any SS lid, it is presumed guilty until proven innocent.)

This one has good overhang, and the Erel markings comport with the time period that color-pipes were allowed by the RFSS. The black grommet is just visible behind the skull. (Skull looks to be replaced,and you SS guys can opine as to whether or not it is good).

Of course, better pics are needed, as well as the all-important under the hood shots. Who knows, there is a first for everything:

Tempting, one thing that bothers me is the black velvet band looks odd where it meets the yellow piping in a few places. (especially at 3 & 9 oclock looking at the visor) Jacques

Good job on finding the original thread on this, guys--I had never seen it before (I gotta get over there more often, but too much black and white!).
