Imo this is a latewar Bergmütze. Lining with artifical silk, Material like M43-tunics. Leather-sweatband, but no stiffener at the front.

I agree. I think it is a good cap and it is of later manufacture - 1943-1944.

Very nice, I like it a lot. You very rarely, if ever see a traditional bergmutze of late war manufacture. Jacques
