Wolf tell the truth you are thinking about buying this visor rite? First let me say I dont know much about head gear not my field. This visor would look good to me to besides the sweat band looks new. That shows how a guy like me could get burned quick on this hat. If you take the sellers word and his guarantee as truth there goes you're money. What good is his guarantee when a expert says its fake but he says it's real. You get my drift on that?

Apart from the questionable insignias, I see only an attractive external appearance. It's a shame that there is almost no padding.
With regard to the interior, if the sweetband was remounted, then there was no difficulty in placing a period lining and visor.
Surely, it would be very useful:
- Definitively establish the falsity of the insignias;
- See how the lining was sewn, lifting the sweetband.
