    I bought this fieldcap at Militracks at Overloon the Netherlands.
    Anny opinions on this item would be apriciated.

          Ciao Luca ... a lot of Italian fellas on the WAF, ain't it?
          May I ask you to set out where exactly the lining was opened? Which picture: the 2nd or the 3rd one from top? In the meanwhile the owner might confirm (or not confirm) anomalies in the stitching.

            Hi guys,,3rd pic down and left side of hat size, looks like re-stiching from these pics..other wise it looks like a good late war M43 insignia and hat, but would need close up pics of this area IMO.

              I don't think the lining has been opened
              it looks like some rough stitching?

                The stitching in the portion you've highlighted differs from the rest, but I tend to think that it's just a manufacturing fault . In the tailoring technique it's called "going over with the stitching" , when the machine "skips" the stitches. Sewing-machines of the era were reliable, but lacked electronic controls.
                Opening the liner in that spot doesn't make sense
