Good day Guys

I would like to get your opinion on the soutache application on this 1940 Carl Halfar cap. It is a huge size 61. The cap itself looks good to me but I would appreciate some input on the soutache application and whether it is good I may have a shot at adding the cap to my collection so any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks for pointing that out. I actually looked at the thread used after you pointed it out to me in a earlier post where I showed a Halfar EM sidecap.

I had the cap in hand tonight and I guess the overall condition got my mind working in overdrive. The cap has been really well looked after.

I see nothing wrong with this one in any way. Grab it - early (1940) caps are relatively hard to obtain, and although in un-issued(?) condition which is less desirable it's still well worth pursuing.

I like how the stitching on the soutache over ran it and kept going. A cap that would fit me, now that is a rarity.
