Visor Hat of Generalmajor Egon von Plőtz

This is on display in the Tirpitz Museum in Norway. The tunic belongs to a Generalmajor Egon von Plotz. This is the only pic of the visor I can find. Does anyone have additional pics?:

The "stamp" with the family coat of arms is from a mass-produced series...

I am not feeling it on the cap. I bought a very similar family crest for my family name in the identical font at a souvenir store in Nottingham, UK four years ago - it's on our fridge!

That would be my thought as well. Some interesting pics of the Tirpitz Museum online when I searched up Heer von Plötz. Looks like several of the uniforms have been put together with varying degrees of accuracy and success...

Something to bear in mind...there is no such thing as a "Family Coat of Arms". A Coat of Arms belongs to an individual and as such is not hereditary.
