My first schirmmütze, Erel with vented crocade. Very happy for it! Eventhough the SB is in bad shape, the rest has a nice appearance and right amount of wear for my taste

I like it as well....
but I'd ask to who knows eReL much better than me.....
The fixing method of the SB....long stitches, and the used thread seems the same of that one , securing the inner fabric.....
Is it right for an eReL ? maybe a "period" repair/replacement?

Is the sweatband ersatz type? When would you guys date this visor? Just trying to figure out when ersatz ERELs came out.

Stonemint: It's very hard to se, even when tilting it towards the ligtht. But perhaps "E.Lybers"? And Eberswalde is correct

The correct name of the distributor is Zybell, I´ve add a picture of the shop named with E. Zybell.
In a phone book from 1939 the shop owner is named as Werner Zybell.
