    M42/ M43 conversion...

Just picked this up on one of the auction sites and wanted to share. M42/M43 LAGO WIENER logo and nice added, period applied, liner piece. Also a striking contrast of wool for the visor. The T-Trap was butchered when removed similar to the Panzer M42 on Relic Hunters site. Plan to get another and replace it. This will go on the shelf with it's friends. Enjoy. DL.

Classic conversion, but a small size.

IMHO a factory conversion..love the addition of the pull flaps... Billbert

Personally I wouldn't replace the remains of the original eagle...if you want to display it just get yourself another insignia and loosely stitch it on top of this one. IMHO you will devaluate the cap by removing it; same if you would remove the remains of the original sleeve eagle on a SS tunic...

That's good idea. I really don't want to 're-sew' another cap device, I'll just tack it over the old one for display only. Thanks All DL.

Nice example, breaks my heart to see anything denazified but that's just the way it is.
