The very sloppy piping and the way the ends of the piping are attached (at the back of the visor..) are a big red flag for me,but Iet;s hear what the others are going to tell us....

In looking at it again, the band piping almost seems to be re-covered. The faker should stick with his day job (if he even has one).

Chris, so you think the faker simply re-piped the visor and left everything else, sans the wreath and eagle of course, intact? Or is it a complete put-together using original parts?

Kogy, the body lining and sweatband are all real. Just the piping is replaced. He may just have razored out the 'farb piping an then (very poorly) sewed on the celleon piping. But, at the same time it is so lumpy and wavy it looks like he just re-covered it in areas.
