Question about stamp LW pith helmet

I own this green, 1-st model pith helmet. I's in good condition, a little bit faded, a bit dirty (never cleaned it). There is o maker mark in it, only the number as shown on the pic. Is this a RbNr?

Yes to the original question, RBNr, late 42 onwards.

Nice tropenhelm I dont remember ever seeing an example of the felt type badged to the Luftwaffe, mostly Heer and one KM.

Thanks for the compliment Jerry! Well Jos, guess I'll have to go and look for a decent eagle...Wenn I see the prices dealers are asking for these helmets, it's worth the investment.
