Cav Officer on e-stand

Hello Gentlemen...

I am considering this cap that is listed on e-stand for a Cav Officer display. Any comments or opinions concerning the eagle application and sweat band are appreciated, as well as maker.

Greetings Bob!
I wonder if the Eagle is postwar reattached? It sure matches the Cocade/wreath well however.... I would like to see close up photos of the front of it and rear with the loose lineing lifted away so we can see the sewing.
does the thread sewing the Eagle on match the rest of the attaching thread?

ask the seller for more photos and lets see what others have to say? I in no way am a visor expert but am always happy to learn!

Here are a couple more pics, this is the best I could do under the hood, can't get up to the eagle. Eagle seems a bit puckered? Hope this helps a bit. Jeff

IMO an original Halfar cap with a partially re-sewn sweatband and reapplied insignia, although I can't be sure of the latter.

Bill Shea listed one very similar within the last year.
