Althoug I am standing alone - I would not say "definately bad". I would like to have it in hands. There were millions of M43 produced in 1943/45 - maybe some of them dont suit in our "textbook taste".

      I am not a "textbook" afficionados !
I have myself in my collection foreign made, tailor made cap in wool, gabardine, trikot, olona cloth, HBT....
But this one try to imitate (and pretty badly) a classical" textbook" M43 cap.
Everything is wrong : lining, marking, shape, stitching, bias and many others
      details.
the chance for this one to be original is IMO equal to zero.

Ok then let us go into detail - what is wrong with the markings (imo a hardly readable RbNr and the year) and what is wrong with the stitiching?

And let me ad I have nothing to do with this cap.

All I have to say about details is explained if you observe carrefully the ton of original cap showed in this forum..
lining and shape are alone a kiss of death.
