Ad Hoeper is a fairly rare maker, there was a thread about this particular maker not too long back, and this cap (which was once mine) was also posted in that thread, perhaps 'Stonemint' can recall the thread.....

Thank guys, ahh Andy not my piece a friend of mine owns it.

I would place the cap as a late war visor due to contruction and materials ? but a maker Im not aware of, hopefully Chris will chime in ??

I would say mid-war. Really nice piece. If I recall correct, there was a LW Airbase located near Celle.

Hoper is an uncommon maker, but they made nice caps, as exemplified by this one....
